Ed McGuire joins S. H. Smith & Co. as Regional Vice President
(Philadelphia, PA - December 15, 2007) Ed McGuire has been appointed Regional Vice President for S. H Smith & Co., Inc., a national, independently owned wholesale insurance broker, managing general agency and program administrator. In this newly created position, Ed will be responsible for coordinating marketing and brokerage activities for the newly opened Philadelphia office. According to Scott Smith, President, "Ed’s unique combination of excess and surplus lines underwriting and sales experience makes the perfect fit for our company, and our new office location. Ed is well known to many agencies in the Philadelphia and mid-Atlantic region. He will support our ambitious growth plans, as we continue to uphold our high standards for customer service." Ed was formerly the president/principal of SecureRisk Intermediaries Insurance Agency, Inc., which was acquired by S. H. Smith & Co.
